The IELTS Test Format Was Explained

Academic Writing

  • Part 3: The examiner will ask you additional questions related to the topic of Part 2. Also, these questions are modified to give you the opportunity to discuss more abstract subjects and ideas.
  • You will get 11-14 minutes time.

Grades Your results during the test will be evaluated by IELTS-certified examiners. You will be judged on four criteria: fluency and consistency, lexical source, grammatical range and accuracy, and pronunciation. Scores are reported in full and half ranges.
